Sepandar Mazgan, a day of love and earth that was celebrated by ancient Persians. The actual date is February 17 (29th of Bahman in the Iranian calendar), a few days after Valentine’s Day. And similar to Valentine’s Day, Sepandar Mazgan is a day that is devoted to love. We had a hard time finding historical information on this holiday, so feel free to share your thoughts, knowledge, or your interpretation of Sepandar Mazgan in the comments.
